About the Role:

The National Account Manager, Grocery is accountable for delivering a broad and deep relationship with our key grocery retail partners, ensuring a longer term strategic relationship is maintained. You will aim to increase market share and deliver incremental contributions while ensuring account retention. The role requires a highly motivated person that is a builder - this person will not inherit a playbook and will be tasked with leading our growth within the grocery retail segment. You'll work with buyers, department VPs, and other internal and external personnel  to develop strategies that align with the strategic priorities of Farmer’s Fridge and our partners. You will have global revenue responsibility, will own sales penetration and growth strategy plan, and will work collaboratively with internal stakeholders. 

What You’ll Do: 

  • Strategic alignment and development of the overall Retail channel strategy - with the main priority being growing existing partnerships (Target/Albertsons)
  • Support the creation of sales plans and marketing activities by using category, consumer, shopper, and market information.
  • Identify and explore commercial expansion opportunities
  • Support annual planning, joint business planning, trade marketing budget and negotiations
  • Assist in the management of forecast accuracy for current and new products
  • Collaborate with a large cross-functional team including shopper insights, marketing, merchandising, etc 
  • Monitor performance of plans by evaluating successes, risks, and opportunities

What Your Background May Look Like: 

  • 5+ years’ experience of managing and expanding strategic accounts and relationships in the CPG industry (Fresh experience preferred) 
  • Experience managing Top-to-Top conversations within grocery segment
  • Broker/distributor management preferred 
  • Direct experience managing P&L
  • Experience leveraging syndicated data (Nielsen, IRI, Spins) to influence decision making
  • Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
  • Proven ability to drive deliverables within tight timelines, while managing competing priorities
  • Excellent proposal writing and presenting, project management and analytical skills
  • Advanced computer software proficiency (Excel, PowerPoint and data visualization)
