Innovative mobility companies use our API platform to verify mileage, issue digital car keys, manage EV charging schedules, monitor fleets, and much more. 

As Smartcar’s Product Marketing Manager, you will define, lead, and drive Smartcar’s go-to-market strategies for product adoption and category leadership. Key responsibilities include core messaging and product positioning, market analysis and competitive intelligence, product launches and sales enablement, and product adoption and activation initiatives. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders including Product, Marketing, and Sales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Craft clear, differentiated product narrative, positioning, and persona-based messaging
  • Gather customer, competitive, and market research to influence marketing, sales, and product strategy
  • Create sales enablement and go-to-market playbooks for product launches and new releases
  • Own product adoption and conversion initiatives for Smartcar’s self-service funnel
  • Help develop, manage, and enable a partner marketing channel
  • Identify product, sales, and operational gaps inhibiting GTM success

Who You Are

  • 3-5 years of experience; including 2+ years of Product Marketing experience at a high-growth B2B technology company
  • Ability to quickly learn product and technical concepts
  • Proven track record of leading initiatives that drive adoption and activation of a technical, SaaS product
  • Ability to work both independently and with cross-functional teams
  • Strong capability of interpreting data analytics to make business decisions
  • Experience with marketing automation tools and concepts (HubSpot, Marketo, Autopilot, etc.)
  • Creative thinker with the ability to utilize or combine technologies for maximum results
  • Strong verbal,  written, and visual  communications skills are a must


  • Experience with customer engagement tools (Intercom, Drift, Pendo, etc.)
  • Familiarity with APIs, developer tools, and/ or vehicle telematics
  • Experience working in a startup environment


Your Team

Compensation and Benefits Package

  • Base salary determined by years of experience: $80,00 - $135,000
  • Equity
  • Remote work within CA
  • Health, Dental and Vision covered at 90% for all plans and 80% coverage for dependents, which amounts to approximately $11,000 a year
  • 401K matching at 4%
