Sr. Front-End Software Engineer

We are looking for an outstanding Sr. Front-End Software Engineer to join our Software Engineering team. At CipherHealth, we believe in collaboration, mutual respect, open communication, and opportunity for growth. In this role you will be collaborating with others to define and implement optimal, complete solutions based on stakeholder needs. You should be able to work independently with little supervision. You should have excellent organization and problem-solving skills and have worked in an Agile environment.

Responsibilities

  • Write well designed, testable, efficient code using front-end development best practices
  • Implement front end monitoring and performance tools
  • Integrate data from web services and databases
  • Refine specifications and requirements based on user, product, and technical needs
  • Be responsible for maintaining, expanding, and scaling our front end web applications
  • Stay up to date with emerging technologies/industry trends
  • Collaborate with UI/UX teams and Product Managers to implement designs
  • Troubleshoot front end issues and bugs
  • Mentor and coach junior front end engineers

Requirements

  • In-depth knowledge of modern JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular, Vue, etc
  • Significant experience with NodeJS and ExpressJS-based frameworks
  • Experience with React, Storybook, Webpack, Jest, and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Zeplin
  • Significant experience utilizing RESTful APIs
  • Familiarity with Ruby and Ruby on Rails
  • Working knowledge of relational and nosql databases
  • Ability to learn rapidly and master diverse web technologies and techniques
  • At least 4 years of recent, relevant work experience

  • GraphQL Experience
  • Healthcare related experience
